In the new version iTunes there were pictures for genres, but unfortunately not for all directions, but only cores.

What to add new pictures to the necessary genres to you the small program iTunes Genre Art Manager is required.

As for normal job of the program it is necessary to have established Java 6. To users Windows Vista I recommend to start the program from the manager and to establish compatibility with Windows XP SP2.

We download the program, we establish and it is started. Be convinced that iTunes it is not started.

Here the list of all already registered covers for genres is resulted. We click on the necessary genre and having pressed on button Browse, we specify a way to a new picture.

After, we apply change by button Apply changes.

For addition of new style in the list press, in line Match Word it is typed necessary names, that which is specified in metadata “тегах” an audiofile.

After change, we start iTunes and it is checked.

1. We throw the necessary pictures in folder C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunes. Resources

2. In the same place we open a file “genres.plist” a usual notebook.

3. We insert here such record

Where XXXXX – the style name, and YYYYYY – a name of a file of a picture.

To insert it is necessary before last three тегами: </array> </dict> </plist>

4. We save a file, and it is checked in iTunes.

It is better to make “бэкап” a file before change.
