American company Alion Science and Technology has presented working out which allows to use iPhone and iPod soldiers for reception of the tactical information during fight conducting. The interactive system during carrying out of doctrines in Florida will be tested from December, first till December, fourth.

The system developed by the American experts has received the name eC2 (electronic Collaboration Capabilities). Developers assert, that the offered system considerably will strengthen the tactical superiority using it as allows to conduct better command of armies, passes Palluxo.

It is noticed, that the similar technical decision can be used as during carrying out of military operations in territory of the USA, and out of it and can be integrated into existing networks of transfer info.

The system is intended for use not only in the field of fight for coordination of actions, but also for preparation of fighters for the task.

The American army always aspired to use of technological decisions at carrying out of the operations. However in a case with use of the mobile devices similar with iPhone and iPod (with eC2 work not only they), there is a question of a covering of territory on which military actions are conducted. Also it is necessary to consider technical characteristics of “civil” smart phones – iPhone, as is known, “is famous” for the fixed battery which, besides, has small term of job from one gymnastics.

Possibly, with a critical situation the American soldiers can be helped by additional accessories in the form of the additional batteries, working from a solar energy or finger-type batteries.
