In the Network there were hearings that company Apple can refuse DRM-protection use in the shop iTunes.

For this purpose the company carries on negotiations with the large sound recording companies (Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group and Sony BMG) for the rights to trade in MP3-files without DRM.

If negotiations come to the end successful compositions which can be bought on iTunes, will be accessible to listening not only on iPhone and iPod, but also on other devices.

Earlier company Apple refused even to begin negotiations concerning refusal from DRM.
