As admits famous Piper Jaffray analytic Gene Munster, in December’s quarter Apple can sell up to 24-25 million iPod players.

Such conclusions Munster has made after an analysis of last statistical data from NPD Group. As results of last three years show, October brings average 12 percent from total amount of quarter sales. Thus November adds 24 percents, and December the rest 64%. According to NPD data, in October has been sold almost 3,45 million iPod players, according to Wall-street this is 15 percent from total planned sales amount for a quarter of 2007. If we recalculate this amount on 12 percent and we shall receive 23,5 million players.

However distribution on months will not be linear, admits Munster. This year Apple has extremely strong updated their iPod players, and therefore it is possible to expect additional growth up to a level of 24-25 million sold devices. Indirectly it is also confirmed by those enormous crowds in Apple Store shops.

It is necessary to note, that Munster continues to recommend to purchase Apple shares and predicts growth of their rate from present $168 up to $250.
